Resources to support Daunte Wright’s family & the BIPOC community in Minneapolis

Hey friends,

I wanted to make a comprehensive list of resources to support both Daunte Wright’s family, and the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) community of Minneapolis. Here are the ones I’ve gathered so far, and I’ve linked them all up.

1. Daunte leaves behind the mother of his child and soon to be 2-year old son, Daunte Jr. If you would like to support them, here are some items needed for their son: size 4 diapers, 18-24 month clothes, shoes size 6 & grocery gift cards. You can donate through Venmo @thuy-jones (please subject “Daunte Jr.”); on PayPal @holisticheaux; or Cashapp at $hubby98. A collection of items will be made for their family, or if you would like to send directly you can DM @HolisticHeaux on Instagram for their address.

2. Petition to bring Daunte Wright’s murderers to justice – it costs zero dollars to sign this petition. 

3. Wright Family’s GoFundMe – Will be used for funeral costs and future care for Daunte Jr.

4. The Bail Project, (due to protests breaking out in the city of Minneapolis, a high amount of arrests are expected, so your support to The Bail Project is super important.

5. Minnesota Freedom Fund, (the same concept applies here!)
